47 years of combined drafting and business operation experience.

Jay obtained an Associate's Degree in Architectural Drafting and Architectural CAD/CADD in early 2000 . He immediately became employed at a high end Architecture firm in Woodinville, WA and has been there for the last 23+ years.
Jay and his wife decided to start J&H Drafting and Design after making the decision to do freelance work on the side to help supplement lost income.

Heidi Amdal, Owner/Accounting/Webmaster
Heidi has worked in the Accounting field for over 24 years. She handles anything on the office & business side of J&H, including creating and maintaining the website and socials. Her extensive customer service and client relations experience is the backbone of J&H Drafting and Design.
Heidi encouraged her husband to start J&H Drafting and Design because she believes in him and his work talents and supports him every step of the way in this new venture together.

Jay & Heidi have a blended family with a total of 5 children, though only 3 are pictured here.
We enjoy antiquing, thrifting, hiking, camping and spending time together having fun , as well as hosting get togethers with our friends. Heidi loves creating fun themed parties for the kids and their friends.
Our kids are everything to us.
We consider EVERY client a part of our extended family.
